Some trips are carefully planned.This one absolutely wasn\u2019t!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It started in Mu\u011fla, with grey skies, cold air, and the collective thought: \u201cWe need sun. Immediately.\u201d So Dominika, Filip, and I jumped into a small bus and escaped south to Fethiye and somehow ended up in a completely different world. Blue sky, sunshine, sea waves, warmth. Same country. Totally different mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday ,,six hours of walking and zero regrets”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We didn\u2019t ease into this trip. Almost right after arriving, Dominika and I went for a walk.
Not a casual walk. A six-hour walk along the coastline. We followed the coast endlessly, with the sea right next to us the entire time. Winter waves were loud and dramatic, crashing against the shore like they had something important to say. No plan. No destination. Just walking, talking, stopping to stare at the water, and walking again. At some point, hunger appeared. Then disappeared. Then returned stronger. Time lost all meaning, which is usually a sign of a very good first day. We put our feet into the water. Lots of laughing and splashing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Hotel, Basically a Private Place<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, we finally checked into Nehir Apart Hotel<\/a>, a pleasant, cozy hotel that immediately felt like home. Mostly because we were basically the only guests. Full hotel. Three people. Peak off-season luxury. The only constant presence was the cats, who appeared every day to supervise our movements, demand attention, and generally improve our mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movie night and k\u00f6fte to end the day<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ended the day in the best possible way, a cozy movie night, tired legs stretched out, zero plans for tomorrow, and the feeling that we had already lived a full week in one day. To make it perfect, we added delicious k\u00f6fte in D\u00fcr\u00fcmc\u00fc Usta<\/a>. Warm, comforting, full of flavor, exactly what you need after six hours of walking. Friday couldn\u2019t have ended better.<\/p>\n\n\n

Saturday, russian coffee, road trips and local secrets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday started slowly, exactly how it should. We began the day with coffee in a Russian caf\u00e9, Love Breakfast & Eatery.<\/a> Travel logic completely abandoned us, but the coffee and tea was strong and the atmosphere oddly perfect. One of those moments that makes you smile and think: this trip is already worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exploring with a couchsurfing local<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, we met a man from Couchsurfing, and this turned the day into a full adventure. We jumped into the car and spent hours driving around Fethiye and its surroundings, following his recommendations, the kind you only get from someone who actually lives there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
